So, this is super weird. I feel like the year shouldn't be over yet... not that I want it to continue longer but... Anyway, this class was so great because since it was a year-long class I really got to know a lot of you and made friends/connections. Being a commuter was difficult because I didn't have that aspect of college life, but this class gave me a little taste of it. And thank you to all of you who were in my groups for my final project for catering to my crazy schedule.
Honestly, I don't like history. Historical fiction, yes, history, no. So I really enjoyed this class a lot more than I thought I would, and part of that has to do with you guys and the professors. I loved the different activities we did, the Chicago trip, dancing... I wouldn't have minded if we would have done more of things outside of class (there's my "commuterness" coming out again!) I learned a lot in this class - about history and about college life/classes and how to get the most out of them, as well as balancing all the classes.
